American Air & Water supplies GSA with UV air cleaners

April 18, 2008—American Air & Water, Inc. successfully met all the General Services Administration (GSA) requirements for being a government supplier and was awarded a Multiple Awards Schedule contract, the company has announced.

With the GSA contract, American Air & Water will offer its proprietary product—the American-Lights UV Air Cleaner using germicidal ultraviolet light technology—directly to the federal purchasing agencies. The American-Lights UV Air Cleaners are made in the USA.

American Air & Water offers a complete line of residential, commercial and industrial UVC air, surface and water disinfection systems that greatly reduce or eliminate microbial contaminants in the air or water for any facility. The company has successfully provided products to various federal and local government agencies, such as The US Environmental Protection Agency Emergency Operations Center, The CDC and several military operations. The products have also been provided for The World Health Organization and several educational facilities, hospitals, clean rooms, laboratories and food processing plants.
