First Europe-based cleaning contractor achieves CIMS certification

by Brianna Crandall — May 15, 2015—U.K.-based Principle Cleaning Services Ltd. has successfully completed certification to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS). Principle Cleaning is the first European-based cleaning contractor to achieve CIMS certification since ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, launched the program in the United Kingdom and Ireland last year.

To earn CIMS certification, the London, England-based contract cleaning service provider underwent a comprehensive assessment by an independent, accredited CIMS assessor to demonstrate its delivery of consistent, quality service, and that it is committed to efficient operations and continuous improvement. As a result, Principle Cleaning demonstrated its compliance with the five core principles of the Standard: quality systems; service delivery; human resources; health, safety, and environmental stewardship; and management commitment.

“I am delighted that Principle Cleaning is once again leading the way in the U.K. and Europe. We believe in innovation and this proves our commitment to that, as well as continual improvement, but all credit goes to our fantastic staff which made it possible,” said Principle Cleaning Managing Director Peter Smith.

Established in 1989, Principle Cleaning Services Ltd. provides sustainable and professional cleaning services to both large and medium organizations throughout the United Kingdom.
