by Brianna Crandall — August 31, 2015—Pennsylvania-based Follett Corporation just announced the availability of a new water chiller accessory to work with its popular 7 and 15 Series ice and water dispensers.

The new chiller accessory kit includes the chiller and all of the fittings, tubing, and instructions to easily connect the chiller to either the 7 Series or the larger 15 Series ice and water dispensers. Installation does not require modifications to the ice and water dispenser and has no impact on the ice-making performance of the dispensers, notes Follett.

“We get requests from customers who want chilled water with their 7 or 15 Series dispensers,” according to Mike Purcell, Follett product marketing manager. “This new chiller fits in the base stand of a 7 or 15 Series or under a counter within 5 feet of the machine and solves the needs of locations where the incoming water is too warm, or there are people who don’t like to use ice to cool their water.”

Follett’s sleek, low-energy 7 and 15 Series ice and water dispensers have countertop and freestanding models, and the 7 Series is available in undercounter models. All models have sanitary dispensing and can produce 125 lbs. of consumer-preferred Chewblet ice per day. The 7 Series, which holds 7 lbs. of ice storage, is ideal for a 25-30 person work group, while the 15 Series holds 15 lbs. of ice storage and serves up to 50 people. Agion antimicrobial treatment of critical components minimizes bacteria and biofilm growth on treated surfaces.

Founded in 1948, Follett Corporation manufactures ice-related equipment, including ice machines, ice storage and transport equipment, ice and beverage and ice- and water-dispensing equipment for foodservice and healthcare markets worldwide.
