20-20 Technologies announces software-based design competition

May 7, 2003—20-20 Technologies has announced the 2003 20-20 Design in Technology Awards. The competition will culminate at NeoCon 2003 and is sponsored by the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance (OFDA), Knoll, Inc., and 20-20 Technologies.

The purpose of the competition is to recognize space planning and design projects that stretch the boundaries of current technology in their innovation, creativity, and resourcefulness. The 2003 20-20 DIT Awards honor the achievement of projects that would not be accomplished as effectively or efficiently without the use of current 20-20 technology.

The competition is open to all projects designed in any 20-20 product including CAP, GIZA, and Intellicon software. Entries will be evaluated on three criteria: Use of Technology, Design and Layout, and Presentation. The jury panel for the competition will consist of two industry-experienced representatives from 20-20 Technologies and one guest juror from the Office Furniture Dealer Alliance (OFDA).

Winners of the 20-20 Design in Technology Awards will receive $1000 for first place, $500 for second place, and $250 for third place.
