March 7, 2005—20-20 Technologies Inc. has released GIZA 2005, the latest edition to the 20-20 commercial portfolio of sales and planning products.
The space planning and specification software now has the enhanced AutoCAD support of AutoCAD 2004/2005 and enhancements to the core application, including updates to the GIZA Specials module for creating custom symbols in a User Library, the company says.
With the addition of AutoCAD 2004/2005 import support, GIZA users can exchange files with architects and designers without worrying about version compatibility issues, the company says. By using a more streamlined import method, the AutoCAD file provider requires less drawing manipulation.
Further enhancements to the GIZA Designer include additional performance improvements to GIZA User Libraries. Such libraries help users develop custom libraries of furniture parts and accessories. The items can then be saved and used throughout multiple drawings across multiple projects.
20-20 Technologies began shipping GIZA 2005 on February 25, 2005. All 20-20 GIZA customers with active support and subscription contracts automatically receive the upgrade.
