July 20, 2005—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), has expanded its line of wall-mounted swing gate racks used to support network, security, and communications equipment to walls where floor space is limited. The company says its new EasySwing racks are cost-effective and easy to install.
EasySwing racks are a family of open wall-mounted swing gate racks that are hinged and swing open to provide easy access to the front and rear of installed equipment. These durable, all-steel racks, explains CPI, are copper and fiber ready with the ability to hold up to 85 lb. of 19-in. EIA mounted equipment and single-sided shelves. They come in ten sizes and in three powder-coat finishes.
EasySwing ships flat, partially assembled, and unfolds for easy set-up. The frame is symmetrical and can be flipped during installation so that the gate opens to the right or left. Keyhole mounting slots and mounting template make hanging simple, explains CPI, adding that the low-cost EasySwing also comes with five integrated cable management straps that attach to slots in the frame and support cables as the gate opens and closes.
