July 22, 2005—Henry Bros. Electronics (HBE) is donating its technical expertise and installing an integrated security system for The Wishing Place, the new home for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas.
HBE Texas will install security systems in the 13,500-square-foot building to create a save haven for the many children who suffer from life-threatening medical conditions. HJBE employees are donating their labor to install the systems.
A portion of the equipment is being furnished from manufactures of the equipment including Lenel, Ingersol Rand, and HID. Other groups making generous donations to the foundation are Las Colinas Land Limited Partnership, which is donating the land for the project, and BOKA Powell, which is providing pro-bono architecture.
