The Department of Health and Human Services has developed a strategy package on workplace violence called Violence in the Workplace: Guidelines for Understanding and Response. The printed and electronic documents in the package were designed as aids for developing a training curriculum, and include components on prevention efforts, guidelines for recognizing and responding to threatening situations, management teams information, and a model training curriculum.
