September 29, 2003—ABD Research has published the English language version of its latest European facilities management best practices report.
The new, 365-page, report has been expanded to cover property and utilities management as well as FM. It includes 72 profiles of major players, 11 European case studies and a comparison of staff transfer issues in six European countries including France, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands.
The detailed case studies include Fujitsu Services/Chesterton in the UK; Societe Generale/Faceo; Siemens VDO Automotive/Altys; Planete Futurescope/Dalkia; IBM/Elyo.
This report provides a different perspective on the European outsourcing market, putting developments into the broader economic and regulatory context. The section on the transfer of real estate assets by major corporations for example offers a valuable comparison of experience across Europe.
