July 12, 2006—ABM Janitorial Services, an operating unit of ABM Industries Inc., has been awarded a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract renewal with Salt River Project (SRP), Arizona’s second largest utility provider.
The contract covers comprehensive janitorial services and maintenance for more than one million square feet at multiple SRP facilities located throughout a 100-square mile radius in Phoenix and the surrounding area, says ABM.
SRP is based in Phoenix and is the nation’s third-largest public power utility and one of Arizona’s largest water suppliers, providing power to nearly 860,000 customers throughout a 2,900-square-mile service territory in Arizona.
“Our expertise and advanced technologies coupled with the highest possible quality of service will further enhance the Project’s production efficiencies to better serve its customers,” said Jim McClure, president of ABM Janitorial Services.
