ACHCA members have access to MyZiva in a joint nursing home quality initiative

January 24, 2005—Members of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) are now provided with access to Web-based MyZiva—the Platform for Nursing Facility Management, as an additional membership benefit. This joint initiative supports both parties’ mission to work with the nursing home community to enhance quality of care by providing practical technological solutions to the variety of challenges encountered by nursing homes professionals.

MyZiva’s Web-based technology and educational resources enable nursing homes to further enhance and improve upon in-house staff education and training practices. ACHCA members will have unlimited access to more than 100 continuously updated courses, educational materials, and resources including testing material, developed by experts in a variety of fields, including clinical, management, operations, legal, and finance.

Administrators can easily obtain CEU credits by taking MyZiva online courses. The courses also provide expert guidance on and immediate access to state-specific regulations and statutes, as well as regulatory correspondence. Facility specific survey deficiencies obtained from actual statements of deficiencies, are highlighted within each course. Using MyZiva’s Knowedgebase administrators will be able to access detailed comparison charts containing surveys, quality measures, and nurse staffing rations for every nursing facility in the nation.
