March 26, 2003—Allasso, a European specialist network will distribute ActivCard products and solutions across its pan-European network of resellers and system integrators. ActivCard, is a provider of IDentity Management (IDM) software. The pan-European agreement leverages marketing and selling capabilities in Allasso’s Value Added Resellers (VAR) and System Integrators (SI), giving ActivCard access to a larger number of VARs and SIs who already are fully trained and experienced in IT security and strong user authentication services.
ActivCard and Allasso will produce joint sales and marketing tools for the channel, and will be offering full post-sales technical support through the multi-lingual Allasso European Support Centre. Several Allasso offices are to become ActivCard Certified Training Centres (ACT). The ACTs are expected to be operational by mid 2003, allowing local training of the ActivCard certification programs.
