Adal Structures wins contract to replace building envelope at St. John Rigby in UK

December 9, 2005—Adal Structures Ltd, a subsidiary of Adal Group, Inc., a leading producer of value added aluminum extrusions and related architectural and proprietary products, has won a prestigious architectural contract to replace the building envelope of St John Rigby College, a Catholic college in Wigan, UK, says Adal.

Mr. Gary O’Connor, Managing Director of Adal Structures, said, “We are one of the few companies in the UK with the technology and skills to carry out this work. Our team of design and engineering specialists have many years of experience in curtain walling and cladding.”

Mr. O’Connor added, “We adapted and designed solutions to replace an existing curtain wall facade that was leaking. We also designed a new bull nose cap, produced by our sister company Adal Seco. Additionally, we were awarded work on the college’s roof-light, initially given to another subcontractor, which is perfectly suited for us but was too technical for them to produce. We are also very pleased to be working with the highly regarded Eric Wright Construction Ltd., the main contractor for the project.”

Adal Structures offers total facade contracting expertise for building envelopes worldwide, from design to manufacture and installation. The company offers an extensive range of cladding systems and custom design solutions, which are vigorously tested at certified testing facilities and installed by experienced project teams, the company notes. Sister companies Adal Seco provide aluminum extrusions used in the systems and Adal Guilform composite cladding panels. For more on the company, visit its Web site.
