Affordable Pulsar Esprit Power Cluster UPS for fully redundant power

MGE UPS Systems recently introduced its Pulsar Esprit single UPS and Esprit Power Cluster redundant UPSs, developed for high-availability power protection for the most demanding users in telecommunications, broadcast, the Internet, industrial automation, and building automation.

The Pulsar Esprit Power cluster is designed for mission-critical applications requiring 99.999 percent uptime. In addition to true redundancy, this new UPS system further enhances total power availability with expandable battery options and a suite of Internet-grade monitoring and communications. Esprit Power Clusters (2 UPSs) provide maximum availability with its comprehensive feature set at a cost comparable to a standard UPS. The Esprit is useful in a wide range of applications including call centers, broadcast production facilities, control systems for automated prototype process or small assembly lines, research and laboratory environments, smart buildings, and more.

With a selection of power ratings from 3kVA to 13.5kVA, the units are designed to protect clusters of three to 15 critical servers with associated key peripherals such as storage and backup devices. Based on modular, scalable building blocks, the system configuration is simple, providing virtually unlimited backup time. With options for redundant batteries and chargers, the system promises maximum reliability as well as rapid recharging of even the largest battery bank. A modular design supports additional units as system requirements grow.
