February 15, 2016—AFG Group, Inc. (AFG), a construction management (CM) firm with locations throughout the Eastern Seabord, was recently awarded a multiple-award, five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Under the contract, AFG will provide a full gamut of construction management ervices to NIST at Gaithersburg, Maryland. AFG was one of three awardees selected to receive CM fees from a combined contract amount of $9.8 million throughout the life of the contract.
Construction management task orders are expected to involve all phases of construction. AFG Vice President Ken Reese will be the contract executive managing all tasks from predesign through post construction.
