The 24-page booklet outlines key security concepts and design challenges to help architects and their clients make appropriate security decisions for facilities. It addresses how to define security needs and shape security responses, and explains in detail how to analyze potential threats to security. The booklet stresses the value of collaboration among facility and building owners, security personnel, engineers, architects, and others when security strategies and enhancements are being considered.
