AIA is fighting for increased funding of schools

AIA is appealing to its members to actively support its lobbying initiative to incorporate school construction and modernization into the upcoming budget omnibus reconciliation bill. AIA has a package of briefing tools available at www.e-architect.com/gov/schools to be used when contacting legislators.

The AIA was featured prominently during a recent congressional event, hosted by Reps. Johnson and Rangel. At this bipartisan event, AIA made the point for increased funding by having posters of well-designed schools compared with crumbling ones.
