November 2, 2005—AIA Philadelphia held its 2005 Awards for Design Excellence public exhibition October 9-30. Nearly 200 diverse projects were represented. The three-week exhibit is held at the Rotunda at Liberty Place, where it is accessible to thousands of shoppers.
The Annual Design Excellence Awards Program promotes the value of architects as design and building professionals by demonstrating to the public their ever-increasing capability to realize high standards of design, building efficiency, and sustainability of nonrenewable resources.
