January 4, 2006—Alfred McAlpine, a support services provider, recently announced that it has signed the facilities maintenance services contract with Babcock DynCorp in relation to their 500m Regional Prime Contract covering the UK Ministry of Defense’s estate in the East of England.
As a key service provider to the Babcock DynCorp joint venture, Alfred McAlpine will deliver facilities maintenance services in excess of 75m in support of the contract over an initial seven-year contract period commencing in the second quarter of 2006.
It is Alfred McAlpine’s second major success as a key service provider in the MoD’s regional prime contracting program, building on the partnership success of Regional Prime (South West) with Babcock and Bovis Lend Lease.
