AlivePromo’s new AliveEdit can change 500 retail signs from one site via Internet

March 16, 2005—AlivePromo has introduced AliveEdit, a proprietary solution that allows users to change sign content instantly from anywhere on the Internet.

Designed with retail uses in mind, AliveEdit allows for the collaboration of corporate, regional, and local marketing efforts, the company says, because it allows end-users at several administrative levels to change sign content no matter where they are. A marketing manager at the corporate office, for example, can update video content for 500 locations while store managers change text from the point-of-purchase. Sign access can be password-restricted to certain locations or sign fields, says the company.

AliveEdit, notes the company, can be modified to support the needs of its users. One company may require several layers of access and control, while another may require only one or two. In each case, a log-in, a dedicated URL, and sign access parameters are assigned to fit the circumstances.

AliveEdit is the newest member of AlivePromo’s content fulfillment family. AlivePulse allows for sign content to be changed over the Internet, while AliveKey is a chip-and-load solution designed for non-networked signage.
