Allsteel Inc. has introduced a new line of mobile furniture and accessories entitled, Marbles. The line is designed for added flexibility and comfort features, including:
- Roller-blade style wheels. Marbles table-height mechanism locks at nine positions between 27″ to 36″, including an ADA-required stop at 32.5″. The tool-less leg adjustment has a one-hand locking device for changing the tables height.
- Go-Anywhere tables. Marbles tables nest under worksurfaces, work as independent tables, or take the place of panel-based worksurfaces. 3-mm edges help marbles look at home in system applications, while the ergonomic Bumper-Grip edge makes it easy to grab a freestanding table. The Table-Hugger can also pull tables together without brackets or visible screws.
- Active Storage. The Storage Creeper converts laterals and pedestals into mobile warehouses. Optional padded pedestal tops turn mobile storage into mobile seating.
- Power accessories. The Power Bubble brings power and data direct to the mobile desktop. Marbles mesh modesty panels manage the cord chaos beneath the desk.
