American Institute of Architects awards recognize innovation in educational and cultural facilities

August 29, 2012—The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) has selected 15 educational and cultural facilities for this year’s AIA/CAE Educational Facility Design Awards. AIA created the competition to identify, honor, and disseminate projects and ideas that exhibit innovation and excellence.

Fifteen awards were issued in three categories: Citation, Merit and Excellence. The 2012 winners are:

Excellence Award
