June 18, 2003—Andover Controls Corp., a leading manufacturer of smart building solutions, has unveiled the Continuum SiteController, model CX 9702—a cost-effective, stand-alone monitoring and control solution used to secure small buildings and remote, unmanned facilities. The SiteController is based on Andover’s flagship CX family of network controllers, and includes features that integrate power and environmental monitoring, HVAC control, access control, security, and other building functions.
The SiteController is designed for customers who manage many small or remote facilities, such as retail stores, branch offices, multi-tenant buildings, or small telecommunications shelters. The controller hosts eight inputs, two door readers, and four outputs, and other advanced features. On-board power for automatic door locks, readers, and peripherals means simpler installations, less space required for mounting, and lower overall project costs. The software in the SiteController supports IP communications, a built-in Web server, and SNMP management. This provides the flexibility for authorized users to display site information from anywhere in the world using a standard Web browser or third-party network management software.
