May 31, 2002—The International Code Council (ICC) has agreed to allow the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to distribute ICC codes through the ANSI Online Electronic Standards Store.
Initially, ANSI will offer fourteen codes and standards as PDF documents for users to purchase and download. Titles include the 2000 International Building Code; 2000 International Residential Code for One-and Two-Family Dwellings; 2000 International Plumbing Code; 2000 International Fire Code; and the new 2001 ICC Performance Code for Buildings and Facilities. More codes and standards will be released in the future.
