AOL Time Warner Book Group has signed a contract agreement with Centerstone Software, Inc., for its e-CenterOne solution. The company initially implemented the technology in a pilot program to manage a move of 90 positions within its Boston office. AOL Time Warner Book Group is now implementing e-Center One to manage its Boston, New York, and Indiana workplaces.
The software, explains Judith Graham, director of corporate operations for AOL Time Warner Book Group, “allows us to propose various scenarios and make sound decisions on where to place departments and employees for maximum efficiencies.” The company plans to make the Corporate Mapping feature of e-Center One available on its intranet site.
e-Center One is a Web-based solution that allows companies to make decisions on how to best use their facilities and resources by tying together multiple databases and software products throughout the workplace, providing a holistic view of an organization’s real estate, facilities, space, operations, personnel, life safety, and asset information. Its Corporate Mapping functionality allows employees to view floor plans, seating charts, phone extensions, evacuation routes, room reservations, and other general employee information.
