February 16, 2026 — Facility managers seeking a more immersive, hands-on learning experience that supports their leadership growth look forward to IFMA’s Facility Fusion 2026. Set for April 7-9 in San Francisco, Facility Fusion is designed for facility professionals who want more than surface-level learning and quick introductions.

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) known for larger conferences like World Workplace, intentionally built Facility Fusion on a smaller scale. As a more intimate, interactive event, Facility Fusion fosters deeper connections and targeted learning. The high-impact experience gives attendees more access to peers, speakers, and solution providers.

Education program

Facility Fusion offers engaging education sessions, presentations and immersive deep-dive workshops where attendees collaborate with peers, share insights and forge valuable connections. The speaker lineup brings together industry trailblazers, innovative problem-solvers, and respected experts ready to share game-changing strategies and real-world solutions. Networking activities

Facility Fusion offers many networking opportunities, including the Fusion Opening Night Reception, Coffee Connections, Meetup Hubs, and the IFMA Cares: Community Service Project. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to attend multiple breakfasts and luncheons. Check out the list of networking activities.

Facility tours

Fusion will host facility tours that offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes access to two of San Francisco’s premier facilities: 2 Folsom, Gap Inc.’s signature San Francisco HQ, and The Hilton San Francisco, the largest hotel on the West Coast. Guided by industry experts who know these spaces inside and out, attendees can take an up-close look at the real-world operations and maintenance practices. These tours have limited capacity and fill up fast, so attendees should reserve their spots early.

Pre-conference Component Leader training

IFMA chapter, council and community leaders are invited to kick off Facility Fusion with a pre-conference leadership experience. These focused, peer-driven sessions are geared to strengthening an IFMA leader’s component. Leaders explore strategic planning, member engagement, AI tools, best practices, and hands-on leadership skills, all with actionable takeaways. Whether new or experienced, leaders leave with fresh insights, practical tools, and connections to help their component thrive.
