Aramark awarded building commissioning for CUNYs Baruch College

Philadelphia-based Aramark has been awarded the building commissioning for the City University of New Yorks Baruch Colleges new facility in Manhattan. The new Academic Complex for Baruch College will open for classes in August 2001. The $300 million, 14-story complex will consolidate more than half of the colleges programs and spaces into one new high-tech facility.

Aramark will coordinate all commissioning activities with the design professionals, the construction manager, all contractors and subcontractors, manufacturers, and equipment suppliers. The company will also provide training to the Universitys maintenance and operations staff. The completion of this building is the culmination of the colleges master plan development initiated in 1984.
