American Reprographics Company (ARC), a provider of reprographic services and technology, has created the third major upgrade to PlanWell since its launch last June. PlanWell Version 3.0, featuring PlanWell Document Management System, allows users to search, sort, access and order drawings from any phase of a project at any time. Earlier versions of PlanWell kept a project document collection up-to-date, eliminating the manual process of sifting through enormous piles of paper to determine if a desired drawing had been revised. Version 3.0 provides an new suite of document management tools and extends them over the lifespan of a project plan set. Version 3.0 also offers an online reporting function. Users can build customized online reports within PlanWell, based on criteria they choose. The official product rollout will coincide with A/E/C.
