September 7, 2001—Furniture manufacturer Arcadia has launched Domaine, an innovative collection of conference tables, mobile tables, and meeting accoutrements, which can be used for conventional conference applications as well as mobile environments. Designed by David Ritch and Mark Saffell, the award-winning design team of 5D Studio, the furniture collection offers design continuity with a minimum of details, while providing great versatility that allows companies to define their own workspaces.
The designers created a unique design for the base of the conference table that works for diverse collaborative environments and supports the cabling, surface appliances, and various presentation equipment. They added convex and concave table shapes to give the table series an extra dimension. Each Domaine piece is available in a variety of standard specifications, or can be made to project-specific requirements.
Domaine provides reconfigurable meeting, docking, and training tables, stylish presentation accessories, and interchangeable components for the needs of the total work environment.
