Arcadia’s Serafina lounge series extended with Serafinita for youngsters

January 9, 2008—Arcadia announces the launch of Serafinita, the younger sibling to the company’s popular Serafina Modular collection. Designed specially for children’s seating applications, Serafinita is as imaginative as its intended users, accommodating pediatric facilities, daycare centers, libraries, bookstores, retail outlets and more.

Offered individually as lounge and love seat units or paired with connecting tables, Serafinita is user-friendly and option-rich, all the while providing a safe and stylish comfort zone for waiting, playing and general mischief, says Arcadia.

When used in modular mode, Serafinita uses the same ganging device as the Serafina that is surprisingly easy to use, highly effective and virtually effortless, according to Arcadia. Concealed underneath each seating unit, linking connectors pivot outward to link with bridges that come standard with connecting receivers. No tools or hardware are ever required.

Further enhancing the collection’s functionality and likeability is its capacity to intermix adult size Serafina lounge chairs with Serafinita connecting tables in the same configuration, enabling an entire family to sit together.

Available in four sizes, from 6-inch straight to 30, 45 and 90-degree arcs, all connecting bridges feature a smooth radius edge for added safety and are interchangeable as well as reversible. Adding to the building block of possible combinations are wood, laminate or upholstered table options along with nine candy-colored leg finish choices to satisfy grown-ups and kids at the same time.
