February 13, 2006—ARCHIBUS, Inc., has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant by Gartner, Inc., in its report “Magic Quadrant for Integrated Workplace Management Systems 2005,” written by Michael A. Bell, research vice president, as recently announced by the developer of the Total Infrastructure and Facilities Management (TIFM) solution.
The Magic Quadrant for Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) depicts Gartner, Inc.’s evaluation of how software vendors measure against criteria for the IWMS space. According to Gartner’s analysis, “The market for IWMSs is being driven by several user needs to include a focus on occupancy cost reduction; a need to report on key performance indicators across the workplace portfolio; a drive toward operations productivity via self-service functionality; and a need for greater workflow management across the life cycle of facility assets from acquisition (project management), lease and portfolio management, space management, and operations and maintenance management.”
To be positioned in the Leaders Quadrant, according to the Gartner analysis, “Leaders have strength in application and platform technology, demonstrate a high level of Quality in product reliability and service, have strong operation and organization capability and financial stability, have global reach, and offer a strong vision of customer needs reflected in a robust development road map.”
