Armstrong World Industries wins flooring patent dispute with Pergo

December 19, 2007—Armstrong World Industries, Inc. won a patent lawsuit brought by Pergo, Inc. and Pergo (Europe) AB.

Following a trial in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, a jury decided that mechanically locking laminate flooring panels sold by Armstrong do not infringe Pergo patents. In addition, the jury invalidated all of the patent claims Pergo asserted against the company.
