Ashland Energy Services, an operating unit of Ashland Distribution Company, and Malcolm Pirnie, Inc., have officially launched an alliance partnership effective April 1. The alliance will offer clients a comprehensive energy solution through a menu of choices for energy planning, sourcing, and management.
Ashland and Malcolm Pirnie designed their alliance to be non-exclusive in order to maintain objectivity in their recommendations. Whether finding an economical source for natural gas or electricity, or engineering economical solutions to reduce energy consumption at production facilities, Ashland and Malcolm Pirnie are each able to suggest other companies or energy options that may best fit a client’s requirements.
Ashland and Malcolm Pirnie’s consulting services include: development of a comprehensive energy plan; performing energy audits and evaluating cost reduction measures at the energy consumption points; identifying options for competitive power suppliers; evaluating bids and suppliers’ terms and conditions; analyzing utility rates or tariffs for more appropriate selections; and reviewing utility invoices for possible billing errors.
