ASIS joins in retail security study for loss prevention

The ASIS Foundation has entered into an arrangement with the National Retail Federation to support the National Retail Security Study. This highly respected annual survey of retail theft provides loss prevention executives with the most up-to-date, market-specific information to help them minimize inventory shrinkage and manage and identify various other sources of financial loss.

To facilitate the study’s continued success and relevance to the industry, work by the Foundation will ensure long-term funding, assist in the marketing and promotion of the study, and encourage survey responses through access to ASIS members. To involve the more than 33,000 ASIS International members worldwide, the Foundation will disseminate information via various ASIS channels.

Richard Hollinger, Ph.D., of the University of Florida, conducts the research with a generous gift from General Information Services and continued commitment from long-time sponsor ADT.
