December 11, 2006—Bobrick Washroom Equipment, Inc., responding to a need for converting folded paper towel dispensers to roll towel dispensers due to changes in restroom patron demographics and traffic volume, has introduced a new series of convertible units.
Four interchangeable modules fit into a common recessed cabinet that does not require replacement for changeovers, the company says. The modules are: touch-free universal folded and roll towel dispensers, and 12- and 18-gallon waste receptacles.
Now facility and property managers have the freedom to convert from one towel type to the other while retaining the original design of their stainless steel equipment, defeating the practice of retrofitting with non-matching plastic or metal dispensers, says the company.
Universal towels permit bidding on the open market, as opposed to purchasing with long-term proprietary paper agreements. Interchangeable modules also provide an economical solution to replacing damaged equipment.
