The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International, in collaboration with participating companies BuildingsNet, Inc.™, ManageStar.com™ and PropertyManagerz.com™, recently announced the launch of an e-commerce portal at www.boma.org/portal specifically designed for professionals in or associated with the commercial real estate industry.
The new site will be a central location for sharing information, where members can research companies before purchasing goods and services from companies screened and approved by BOMA. In addition to providing access to products and services, the portal will include a bulletin board for members to post comments and information, a real-time chat room, profiles on participating companies, frequently asked questions, and links to articles and information about e-commerce.
The portal will first service the needs of property owners and managers, but eventually will grow to include links to providers who service the construction and financing industries.
