BOMA develops emergency preparedness audio seminar series

April 8, 2002—BOMA International has developed an audio seminar series on emergency preparedness and security planning. The series will feature four programs, each of which addresses a critical aspect of planning: security and emergency planning; liability and other legal issues, along with risk assessment and insurance; HVAC security; and premises security.

The series will be delivered via telephone, eliminating travel expenses and time away from the office. Through speakerphone, multiple employees can receive this training for a flat fee.

The topics of the four programs are:

  • Emergency preparedness and security
  • Liability, insurance, risk assessment, and other legal issues
  • HVAC security
  • Securing premises from crime, attack, or other disaster

Seminars will be held on April 26 from 3-5pm EDT, May 10 from 2-4 pm EDT, May 17, from 3-5 pm EDT, and May 31 from 2-4 pm EDT respectively.

Registrations fees start at $150 per site, per seminar for BOMA members. Non-members are welcomed to register. Call BOMA at 800/775-7654 for more details about the seminars, including fees for non-members. The registration deadline is three business days prior to the seminar dates.
