BOMA initiates workplace information exchange with Canada

BOMA International recently signed a four-way Cooperation Agreement on Workplace Performance and Sustainable Development with BOMA Canada, the General Services Administration (GSA) and Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), the Canadian counterpart to GSA.

The agreement focuses on two areas of mutual concern to the four organizations: workplace performance and sustainable development. In the area of workplace performance, the agreement commits all four organizations to share information, best practices, lessons learned and solutions.

The partners will examine the performance of the buildings, the performance of the organizations that occupy them, and the costs associated with changes to the building function. They will study people, place and performance—and publish the results.

The agreement underscores the cooperation between the private and public sectors in sharing information and aims to deliver substantial research benefits for each organization’s customers and employees.
