BOMA San Francisco receives Environmental Achievement Award from EPA

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of San Francisco announced today that, in recognition of the Association’s Solid Waste and Recycling Task Force efforts throughout the past year, BOMA SF has been selected to receive the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9 Office’s fourth annual Environmental Achievement Award.

The EPA will host a reception at its offices in San Francisco on Thursday, June 6 at 9:00 a.m. (PDT), which will be immediately followed by an award ceremony in which BOMA SF and other regional organizations will be recognized for the various environmental protection and enhancement programs they’ve developed and implemented in the past year.

“We’re delighted that the Environmental Protection Agency thinks as highly as we do of BOMA San Francisco’s Solid Waste and Recycling Task Force efforts,” said BOMA SF President Ken Perry. “It’s creative member-driven endeavors like our recycling and solid waste program that make BOMA San Francisco such an invaluable organization to those who participate in it—and to the community as a whole.”
