ManageStar, an online services procurement and management system for property and facility managers, has been chosen to help develop a comprehensive online procurement system by Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
Once the BOMA portal is developed, BOMA members can use manageStar to create Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and manage bids in more than 1,000 service areas—ranging from HVAC work and tenant improvements to pest control.
Using managestar, property managers will be able to post and broadcast RFPs to service providers. Users can specify service providers or request manageStar to automatically notify qualified service providers that an RFP matching their skills is posted. Service providers make site visits and return their bids. Finally, manageStar notifies all parties when the property manager selects the winner.
