BOMA’s office building show attracts record number of exhibitors

More than 535 booths have been sold for BOMAs Office Building Show, featuring companies that supply products, services, programs and technology to the commercial real estate industry. The BOMA Annual Convention and The Office Building Show will be held June 17-19 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Nine panelists will keynote BOMA’s convention during the General Session, “Sure-Footing for an Unsteady Future.” The panelists will address several issues, including: the likely impact of the slowing national economy on office and industrial properties; how vulnerable certain organizations are to a downward shift; the macroeconomic signals and red flags that should be watched along with defensive or offensive steps to take; the source of this year’s real estate capital; technology trends that should be on everyone’s front burner; what it will take for new tech companies and existing firms in the process of adapting to survive; how the growing shortage of electrical power is affecting real estate; and the return of real estate investment trusts (REITs).
