January 16, 2006—BRE, the building research and consultancy company, has launched IFRIN—The International Fire Research and Innovation Network.
IFRIN will provide a platform for discussion and interactive workshops on all areas of fire prevention, life safety and fire protection, says BRE. Members of IFRIN will receive the following benefits: monthly e-newsletter about new fire products, regulations, standards, designs, statistics, research and development and more; on-line discussion groups; 20% discounts on BRE fire events and training; and special members-only events focusing on topics chosen by members.
Membership is open to all interested parties including: academics, architects, specifiers, insurers, manufacturers and researchers for an annual subscription fee of only 125 (inc. VAT). This fee includes access for up to three individuals from each member organization.
