Bricsnet and Constructeo plan merger to strengthen European presence

Bricsnet and Constructeo have signed a letter of intent under which all shares of Constructeo, the Vinci-backed e-construction venture, will be exchanged for new Bricsnet shares. Constructeo, based in Paris, is a leading provider of project management and e-commerce tools for the construction industry. Bricsnet is a provider of ASP-integrated technology, services and information for the process of engineering, construction and operations of commercial buildings.

The merger and concurrent financing will enable the two companies to mutually enrich their offers of services and to accelerate their commercial deployment in Europe. Constructeo will act as the company’s new commercial hub for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Vinci has selected the combined entity as its technology provider for project management, facilities management and e-commerce.

The financing is led by Chrysalead, a Paris-based technology fund, and Mitiska Net Fund Europe.

Closing of the transaction and the financing is expected to occur within 30 days and is subject to satisfactory due diligence. For more information, contact Bricsnet or Constructeo.
