Bricsnet’s new online Dashboard displays all projects on one screen

March 7, 2007—Bricsnet, a major provider of technology solutions, has released ProjectCenter 5.3, a new, enhanced version of its online project management and collaboration system, ProjectCenter.

The online application offers a new Dashboard for project information and announcements, enhanced productivity tools and technology upgrades, says the company.

ProjectCenter is an online system featuring the industry’s most intuitive design and simple workflow process, explains the company. Clients simply access a Web site and can usually begin using the system within hours of subscribing because, says Bricsnet, there is no software to install and training requirements are easily handled by a phone call.

Enhancements in ProjectCenter 5.3 are:

  • New Project Dashboard: From one screen, users can see all projects on which they are team members, all action items assigned to them, and all new information uploaded to those projects. The new dashboard also has an area where administrators can post bulletins.

  • New Project Splash Page: Once a client enters a specific project, a new splash page, similar in form to the dashboard, provides comprehensive information about that project on a single, easily navigated screen.

  • Viewing Technology Upgrade: The latest version of the Brava! Document viewing system from Informative Graphics is packaged with ProjectCenter 5.3. In addition to supporting new file formats, the new viewer version also allows users to create PDF and JPG files directly from documents being viewed. These files can then be saved or e-mailed to project participants directly from the system.

  • New Technology Infrastructure: Bricsnet has upgraded the technology in its data center to improve system performance and reliability for clients accessing the system via the Internet.
