BroadWares security tool displays video and manages cameras via the Internet

October 24, 2001—BroadWare Technologies, leaders in distribution, archiving, and management of digital video for broadband networks, and Security Network of America (SNA), have partnered to sell SNAVision—a Web-based video monitoring service hosted by BroadWare that displays video images and manages cameras via the Internet for security and facilities management purposes. SNAVision is a branded version of BroadWare’s Remote Video Access 2.0 and is available immediately through independent security providers in twenty-eight states in the United States and Canada.

BroadWare will provide complete technical and sales training and support for SNAVision to SNA member service providers including Trans-Alarm Incorporated, Guardian Alarm Company, Bay Alarm Company, Central Alarm Incorporated, American Alarm & Communications, and others.

SNAVision greatly simplifies the process of selling, installing, and maintaining video monitoring systems that expand closed-circuit television capabilities. For subscribers, Remote Video Access 2.0 helps organizations monitor productivity, improve process workflow, showcase facilities to customers or suppliers, and ensure safety and security compliance.
