Building & Property’s three-year facilities management contract with Railtrack has been extended for two more years. The company expects to turn over an additional 10 million in the next two years. By outsourcing their FM services, Railtrack has been able to focus on its core business as well as realize substantial cost benefits. It has centralized the provision of property, maintenance, and support services with Building & Property, consolidating over 150 existing separate service contracts. Over the past three years, Building & Property introduced a number of new systems and procedures at Railtrack’s buildings throughout the UK.
