December 23, 2002—A report in Buildings magazine lists five tips for reducing energy used for lighting, without reducing the quality or quantity of light. The tips include: “Look for wasted light;” “Replace inefficient lighting equipment;” “Get control over your lighting system;” “Harness the power of the sun;” and “Look for load curtailment opportunities.”
