August 25, 2006—FM:Systems has announced that CA will expand its implementation of FM:Interact to its worldwide facilities team. In addition to existing sites in North America, FM:Interact will now be used in Asia Pacific, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. FM:Systems is a leading provider of integrated workplace management systems (IWMS).

According to the announcement, the expansion will offer these additional benefits:
- Real-time reporting will support better decision-making. Facilities teams worldwide will have the ability to run real-time reports on key metrics such as churn rates, space utilization, and space chargebacks.
- Centralized access will help improve customer service. All employees will have Web-based access to view worldwide information such as the location of employees, departments, and buildings. Employees will also be able to initiate and track status of move requests via the centralized system.
- FM:Interact, a modular suite of Web-based applications, allows organizations to access and analyze facilities, real estate, and maintenance information in real time. By providing accurate, up-to-date information, workplace professionals can deliver better customer service, reduce costs, and improve productivity across the entire organization.
