October 6, 2003—Cadpo announces the successful certification of its UK learning center by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED). While the IED has accredited numerous educational institutions in the past, this is the first time they have accredited a commercial training organization. Cadpo provides the MCAD/PLM industry standard in vendor neutral eLearning, training and engineering services.
The IED represents engineers in drafting and design. The IED currently has 5,500 members worldwide in three divisions—engineering, product design and CADD. The IED offers members a bi-monthly journal, an extensive library, legal advice and support. The IED has accredited Cadpo’s classroom and training modules that align with its membership competencies.
