CAFM offerings expand Drawbase’s ArchiFM line

August 1, 2001—Drawbase makes compatibility with its earlier systems an on-going process and does so with components of its Drawbase and ArchiFM. Information created in any of its older systems can be imported into newer ones to take advantage of newer, more productive capabilities. For instance, Drawbase drawing and database information can be transferred to ArchiFM.

The ArchiFM product line contains significant new CAFM offerings. ArchiFM is similar to Drawbase in concept, but contains additional capabilities in the areas of CAD, database, queries, and report writing.

The Drawbase product line contains the firm’s traditional CAD and CAFM offerings. Drawbase is an all-in-one software solution used to design, draw, track, and actively manage facilities. It is a combination of CAD and a database management software program. The CAD component can be used to create and revise accurate facilities drawings while the database tracks descriptive information. It contains a comprehensive set of 2D drafting and database management commands.

Drawbase product lines are: Drawbase; DecisionBase; Move Manager; MP2Link; CAP Link, FSL Link. The ArchiFM product line contains: ArchiFM and ArchiFM Web Server. For additional information visit Drawbase as well as their ad on FMLink.
